Michael Schur, CPA

Michael Schur is a partner in the business management firm of Schur & Sugarman, CPA’s, APC. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California (1969).

Mr. Schur graduated from University of California at Los Angeles in 1966. He began his professional career as a staff accountant with the accounting firm of Neiman, Sanger, Miller & Beress (1969-1973). In 1974 he became a partner and continued to practice accounting with the firm until 1975 when he opened up his own practice. (1975-1991). In 1991 he formed a Business Management practice with Randy Sugarman.

Mr. Schur is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Schur has several areas of specialization and expertise, including:

• Business Management services for entertainers and other highly compensated individuals.
• Family Office services for high net worth individuals and their families.
• Taxation of loan-out companies, their principals and other highly compensated individuals.

Mr. Schur lives in Santa Monica with his wife Laurie and enjoys traveling, yoga, photography and chasing his grandchildren around.
